Construction of a large natural habitat at the Wild Felid Advocacy Center costs
approximately $4,000.00 each. I would like to donate for 1/4 of the cost of one
habitat for a wild cat (bobcat, lynx, serval, etc.).

| Kira Memorial (Medical) Fund - Our beloved serval Kira died in 2009 of kidney failure. A medical treatment fund was started in her memory. Veterinary services for wild cats are, generally, very expensive (in excess of $1,000 per visit). |

At this special time of the year we hope you will remember our wonderful wild cat residents with a token (large or small) of your caring and compassion for them. Please do it on your own behalf, as a gift for someone special in your life or as a remembrance to someone dear to you. At this time of the year we often talk about the "Spirit of the Season".... if anything on Earth has an amazing spirit it is a wild cat! The cats at the Wild Felid Advocacy Center of Washington cannot provide for themselves. They are dependent (and appreciative!) of every act of kindness we show them. In many ways it is no different than seeing the eyes of a small child on Christmas morning! To see the wild cat's eyes light up and their excitement at something new in their lives is what makes all the hard work of our volunteers worth it. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN! |
